Took a drive with my Mother to Cuero on 10/19/13 to the Boer show going on to meet up with Allison Spacek of SouthLandRanchTX to trade off goats. It is time for Agirl to be breed to one of Allison's bucks and I was getting Buckaroo from her to bred to my junior MM girls. Followed my best friends as they were taking one of their Boer bucks ( Udder Chaos) to be inspected. He passed the inspections...Yea!
Let Agirl out to stretch her legs and lets just say that she was not impressed by all those big goats at all. Traded animals with Allison, and headed home. Loved being able to spend the day with my Mother, meet up with friends and see some gorgeous goats all in the same day. Buckaroo was one tired boy when we finally arrived but he perked up right away seeing those lovely girls waiting for him.

On Sunday, we decided that since I now own a buck and plan on keeping one from Agirl's breeding that it was time to have a buck pen. So Casey, Jeff and I spent the day putting this pen together and I have to say that I absolutely love it. We had a blast doing this together and are very proud of our new pen. Of course the chickens had to inspect it after it was done to make sure that it was up to code. LOL
